Grease a broiling pan with butter.
Place swordfish on pan and coat the top and sides with lemon juice and a very thin coat of mayonnaise.
Sprinkle Old Bay, Paprika, or your favorite seasoning.
Place pats of butter on fish.
Place fish on middle rack of oven and broil for 20 minutes. Do not flip (broil only the one side).
Move fish up to top rack for the last 5 minutes.
