Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and spray the baking dish with cooking spray. Put the swordfish fillets in the baking dish and brush them with the melted butter. Generously sprinkle the fish with the blackening seasoning. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes with a fork. Do not overcook it. Squeeze with lemon and serve immediately.
The
amount of time it takes to cook the fish is dependent on how thick the
fillet it. The rule is it takes about 10 minutes to cook each inch
thick of fish including swordfish.
This recipe is best fresh out of the oven,
but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for
up to three days.
