This Air Fryer Halibut is
the easiest way to make a delicious piece of fish. Ready in less than
15 minutes, with only a few ingredients, this meal simplifies the way
you'll think about fish. Add a side of fries, veggies or rice for a
complete meal.
- 2 halibut filets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- salt and black pepper to taste
- lemon wedges for serving
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F. Pat the halibut fillets dry with a paper towel. In
a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder,
paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning mixture. Brush the halibut fillets with the seasoning mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on both sides. Place
the seasoned halibut fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook the fillets in
batches. Cook
the halibut in the preheated air fryer for about 8-10 minutes or until
the fish flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary based on the
thickness of the fillets, so adjust accordingly. Once
the halibut is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and serve
immediately. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets for added
brightness. Garnish with additional herbs or a sprinkle of parmesan
cheese if desired. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
