Ingredients

  • 4 - 4 oz walleye filets
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup sliced almonds, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. In one shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow bowl, whisk egg and milk together.
  4. In a third bowl, combine almonds and breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each walleye filet in the flour mixture. Then dredge it in the egg mixture. Next, cover it in the almond breadcrumb combination.
  6. Place breaded filets in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature of filets reach 140ºF.
