Tom Craton retired in 2010 after 38 years in commercial and mortgage banking. While living on the Georgia coast, he met a number of commercial shrimpers. When coming to his home in North Georgia on long weekends, he would bring up shrimp for friends and some commercial customers. After moving to North Georgia full time, he saw a need for quality fresh seafood. He started with fresh Atlantic shrimp and was later licensed by the Georgia Dept. of Agriculture to bring back fresh Atlantic fish.
